Gretel the dog’s last words 导盲犬最后的遗言

Gretel was known as the first service dog in Japan and it continued to stay with its owner Mr Noguchi after its retirement as a service dog. Gretel has always been with its owner and for the past 15 years, it was Mr Noguchi’s best friend. This heart wrenching documentary video showed the last moments of a 17-year-old dog as it bade goodbye to its owner. This stimulus video may be of interest to teachers teaching languages and social studies, for the class to discuss on the topic of love for animals and on pet abandonment issues, as well as on the concept of kindness and loyalty.
