Learning Technologies Bulletin 4: Graphing Software

This bulletin focuses on use of graphing software. These softwares facilitates data presentation & analysis; especially when coaching pupils for project or competitions.
 
Numbers
Numbers is the Mac alternative for Microsoft Excel. Dramatic interactive charts, tables, and images can be added into the spreadsheets.

Grapher 
Grapher is a software program bundled with OS X since version 10.4 that is able to create 2D and 3D graphs from equations. One can edit the appearance of graphs by changing line colors, adding patterns to rendered surfaces, adding comments, and changing fonts and styles used to display them. Grapher is able to create animations of graphs by changing constants or rotating them in space.
